Jonathan is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His lab is studying the molecular mechanisms and the biogenesis of platelets from progenitor cells and stem cells. Now him and his team have been developing new technologies to bring their research to real world clinical applications. He’s co-founded the start up biotech Platelet Biogenesis. They’re developing a new technology to making platelets, which will help to solve the limited availability of this precious resource to clinics around the world.
